My favorite books I read in 2016

A church member told me that one of his goals for 2017 was to read more books and so he asked me for some recommendations.  I was really encouraged by his request as reading is such an important thing to do.  Even if they are non-spiritual books, reading helps exercise our minds to be able to grasp more and more truth.  It is essential for any Christian seeking to grow in their relationship with God through greater study of His Word.  God has chosen to communicate to us through a book to be read.  So we should all want to continually be growing as readers.

I  sent him over a list of my favorite books that I read, or reread, in 2016.  Below is the list.  These aren’t necessarily my favorite books of all time,, just the books that I enjoyed the most out of what I read this past year.
